Congratulations to all 4th, 5th and 6th Classes who took part in the Cork County Council and Skibbereen Herritage Centre Stories of the Revolution Project. The standard of projects researched and presented by the boys was of a very high standard. Each pupils had the opportunity to research and gather stories of this period of history from family and neighboours and record their findings in an individual portfolio. There were 208 submissions from 12 schools which will be preserved and kept for posterity for future generations to enjoy. Each boy was presented with a certificate of participation. Congratulations to Eoin Hurley from 5th Class in Scoil Phadraig Naofa who was the overall winner with his project on the Kilmichael Ambush. He was presented with his prize by the Lord Mayor of County Cork Patrick Gerard Murphy. Thank you to Margaret, Terry and all the team at Skibbereen Heritage Centre for coordinating the project.
